There are many reasons we may begin therapy; we may long for change or
hope for opportunities for healing, growth and transformation.
Whether there is a particular thing you are struggling with, a need for greater support, or an interest in deepening self-awareness, I can support you on your journey. I bring my own lived experienced of what it means to be navigating the fullness of an authentic, meaningful and humanly imperfect life.
My approach is safe, gentle, evidence-based and grounded in relationship. In a non-pathologising, non-judgemental way, I walk alongside people to cultivate a greater connection to self, each other and the planet.
By integrating creative and trauma-informed techniques with relational psychotherapy, neuroscience, attachment theory and mindfulness, I aim to facilitate a deeper understanding of oneself and promote transformative change.
These memberships guide and inform the ethics and professionalism I bring to my practice

“Jack consistently brought his full self, approaching every session with genuine warmth and empathy. I always came away from my sessions feeling truly listened to. For me, Jack's approach encouraged a deeper level of self-compassion and supported me to remember that our emotional complexities are part of what makes us human. I can’t recommend him enough”.

“I have seen 6 therapists throughout my life and Jack was excellent. He is an extremely kind person, non-judgemental with lots of life experience and the ability to understand your situation. I have lots of appreciation and respect for Jack which I think is important in therapy, to have someone you can trust and someone who can understand you. If you’re looking for a long term therapist I highly recommend Jack Tully”.
“Thank you, Jack. I’m so very grateful for the space you held for me during a really hard time of my life. Your care, sensitivity, humour, and kindness were such a valuable support, and the positive impact of therapy has been long lasting. I’m also grateful for the practical follow up exercises and reading recommendations in between sessions”.
"Jack has an incredibly warm and playful presence as a therapist. He is able to acknowledge everything I express in a way that leaves me feeling seen and heard, but also allows it to take up the room and give me more of an objective perspective. I've also found that his questions have been humbly insightful and gave me direction in moments of indecision or indirection during our sessions."
“Jack has an incredible way of making you feel safe, heard and validated. Jack has been seeing my teenage son for over a year now and has gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and to build trust. My son has experienced trauma and has Autism and struggles with communication so Jack has had to work hard at making those connections, but that never deterred him like previous therapists and specialists. He has shown the utmost patience and went at the pace that my son needed. Jack has a beautiful, kind, warm and empathetic approach that never judges, just accepts with a depth of authenticity that is inspiring. I would highly recommend Jack as a therapist for all ages.”
“Jack approaches each of his sessions with a warmth and openness that helps assure me that the conversation we are about to have is occurring in a safe space. He allowed me to control the pace of each conversation, and would continue to check in with me throughout. For those hesitant about reaching out for help, working with Jack will let melt away those fears instantly. I definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to try therapy”

“Jack’s understanding personality and kindness helped my to gain perspective and build my confidence in knowing I was doing a good enough job. Jack shows great empathy and really helped me in gaining self-awareness and gave me some great skills to use when I find myself in a stressful situation.”

“Jack is a very attuned and empathetic gestalt therapist who provides a safe and containing therapy experience. After previously poor experiences in therapy, I am glad I have found and entrusted Jack to assist me on my own journey of personal growth. As a therapist myself, I am acutely aware of the interpersonal skills needed to ensure people feel validated and cared about. This has certainly been my experience after sessions with Jack”
“Not enough can be said about Jack's warmth and humility. The sense of trust I felt, along with the acceptance and humour he exhibits are perfectly suited and a strong advantage to very meaningful therapeutic experiences.”
